Welcome to Langlois Lodge - a newly converted residence located in the heart of a bird sanctuary on the South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Langlois Lodge, with its welcoming and spacious interior & 6000 m² of gardens that overlook the beautiful and tranquil fauna that is indigenous to the south coast make Langlois Lodge a wonderful place to unwind and relax.

The ambiance is relaxed & spacious, yet gently understated. The furnishings are an eclectic mix, with pieces from both Indonesia and South Africa providing focal points.

While smaller objects from local and various African craftsmen add an understated ethnic theme without being overpowering. This simple, yet clean approach will help you relax in a stress free environment.

The separate guest house is simple yet refreshing. Neutral tones are used to create a calm relaxing environment with touches of orange to add a bit of spice. The large open plan room provides ample space, yet still remains private and cozy.

Each room has an en suite bathroom. The large pool is at your disposal 24 hours a day. A bright welcoming atmosphere ensures privacy with access to the expansive indigenous and tropical garden that attracts a wide array of common and rare birdlife.

Eco-Conscious in design with limited impact on the environment by use of sustainable timber, solar & re-usable materials guests also have the opportunity to indulge in our luxury Cape Cod, Scandinavian inspired self catering cabins.

Relax in a cool, uncluttered light-filled environment where clean, open, uncomplicated spaces provide ample room to relax. The cabins enjoy partial sea and full tree top views.

Indulge in our delicious home style cuisine. Experience something new, something local or perhaps something international, all meals prepared at Langlois Lodge. We also have a fully licensed bar to help you unwind.

Close by lies The Championship Selborne Golf Club, Luxury Spa and Restaurant as well as the impressive Lynton Hall, reputed to have one of the finest restaurants in South Africa. These are all within easy access of our Guest House.

Langlois Lodge is also within 600m of Pennington beach consisting of tidal Pool and Ski Boat Club. Umdoni Public Golf Club, driving range, horse riding, bird watching, nature trails are all located within easy access.
