Lalibela Game Resort
A lovely place to stay and a really nice stuff. I recommend to stay two days for getting the best experience and the chance to see as much animals as possible.
Unfortunately we didn't like the food so much, but other guests did.

Superb.
Definitely the highlight of our stay in South Africa. We spent four happy and carefree days!
The facilities are good and fitting to the game reserve. All was clean and cosy. The food was excellent. Particularly for the kids, it was great that we could use buffet facilities rather than a sit -in and through dinner. The staff was absolutely wonderful - kind, always with a smile, and truly making us feel at home.
The kids loved it! They played chess near the fire place, swam, ran ... more

Lalibela Game Reserve

The staff were so friendly and helpful and our ranger Shelley, although young, was great and incredibly knowledgable. The food was plentiful and excellent and other families at Mark's Camp meant that our kids made friends and had fun at the camp as well as on the game drives. The game drives were fabulous and the holiday was everything we had hoped it would be. My only minor criticism is that the a ... more

Tree Tops differs from our other lodges in that it is a tented camp. The luxury safari tents perched high on thatched platforms at "tree top" level are joined by raised walkways and offer spectacular views over the thickly-wooded valley. The rooms, with their canvas walls and thatched roofs have huge window areas and give guests the feeling of being right in the bush. Each room has a private veranda where guests can sit and relax in privacy.
As with our other lodges, Tree Tops has a large lounge and open-air dining deck with a view over a small waterhole. Guests can sun themselves around the swimming pool or relax in the shaded gazebo.
Special care and consideration was taken during the construction of Tree Tops to minimise the impact on the pristine vegetation in the valley. Tree Tops sleeps 10 people in 5 rooms.
