About Laguna Camp & Bungalow Resort
Laguna Camp is situated on the beautiful coastline of Mozambique, on top of dunes overlooking the Bilene Lagoon. With shady trees, surrounded by coconut palms, 100 metres from the white beaches of the lagoon you will find our private campsite, boma and chalets.
All water activities can be done in the lake or in the sea, and we can arrange deep-sea fishing, para-sailing, transfers to the sea by boat, sundowner cruises, paddling, and water-skiing. Diving, snorkelling or sailing can also be done with guests' own equipment.
Beach: Located within walking distance from the lagoon. Great spot for children to build sand castles in the sand next to the lagoon.

It was very nice staying there, but the cleanliness is a problem. Dishes and the chairs outside does not get cleaned properly. The white chairs has got years of dirt on it. Dishes has food on it from previous day and this is especially disturbing when you come into the lodge for the first time. The toilet was leaking much water and it was looked at but left. The bathroom floor mats must be washed after each stay. Thank you for the time there otherwise, it was enjoyed.
The resort is set in beautiful surroundings and the amenities are comfortable. Our host, Louis, was very friendly, as were the staff. The lagoon is safe, warm and fairly shallow, making swimming and kayaking a pleasure. The road, including the sand road to the resort, was good and well sign posted. I would recommend Laguna Camp & Bungalow Resort for those who want to unplug from technology and really relax and unwind.
Laguna Camp was a great first experience for us. It is situated just less than 200km from Maputo and is a great stop for a rest if en-rout up North and is very child friendly. From the initial hello by Louie (the owner) who checked us in, to Fatima who ensured our stay was pleasant and the other staff members of the restaurant (Daniel and Joanna) and our chalet cleaners, you simple feel right at home. We stayed in Chalet 7, which is perfectly situated in front of the restaurant and bar. No need to be concerned with the volume played in the restaurant as it is always kept at the right volume... see more
Enjoyed the stay at the Boma camping site. Good facilities. Beach us wonderful and the staff is very friendly. The campsite is safe and child friendly. Relaxing bar facility and Dstv for.sport.lovers.Will definitely visit again.
Our family stayed in the 3 bedrooms chalet for two nights. The chalet is very spacious, beds are comfortable and quipped with large mosquito nets. The kitchen got all the utilities and the view from the veranda is spectacular. The children spent most of the days in the swimming pool. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious even tough the pizza is over priced. The entire area of 14 hectares is well maintained and full of grass and trees. We had a great time and highly recommend the place to families and couples. The camping sites looked great as well. Each with its own sink and water point... see more
