Officially graded Four Star, by the Tourism Grading Council of S Africa, La Maison Cairn offers mouth-watering 180 degree, panoramic sea views across False Bay matched only by superb accommodation and a warm, friendly home from home atmosphere.

La Maison Cairn is ideally situated with excellent restaurants to enjoy the Cape finest fare close by. The quaint Kalk Bay and Simon's Town villages are within easy driving distance, or a pleasant train ride away, where there are many interesting shops and any number of pubs or coffee shops to enjoy.

Whale watching in season from your balcony, Boulders beach penguin colony, the famous Cape Point Nature Reserve are just a few of the local attractions.

We arrived at La Maison Cairn on a Sunday afternoon. No problem for the staff that helped us out. They gave us very good information about Cape Town and what to do and what not do do. The view from the room and location are great! When we woke up we actually saw some whales very close to shore. As said, staff was perfect!
