Description

La Ferme is located between Paarl and Franschhoek, on the R301 in the Western Cape. Surrounded by majestic mountains and four trout dams, La Ferme also borders the Limietberg Nature Reserve which offers superb mountain biking and hiking.

We offer three log cabins decorated in contemporary décor which is fun and fresh. All accommodation is fully equipped and boasts exquisite views and decks with barbecue facilities. Activities include fly fishing in the four unique dams for trout, bass, carp and witvis, while animal and birdwatching includes the fish eagle, springbok, ostrich, ducks, and Canadian geese.

Permits to gain access to Limietberg Nature Reserve can be arranged through La Ferme or Cape Nature and guests are encouraged to bring along their own bikes.

Ons het baie lekker gebly in die hout huisie - romanties en knus. Dit was heerlik rustig en die perde, bokkie en windjie deur die bome het dit hemels laat voel. Die huisie was netjies en mooi. Baie dankie! Al klagte is die geraas van een of ander masjien of ding daar aan die oorkant - dit het die rustigheid bietjie versteur. We had a lovely stay at the wooden cabin - romantic and cosy. It was pleasantly peaceful and the horses, buck and breeze through the trees made it heavenly. ... more
