La Cabriere Country House is nestled among farms and vineyards with spectacular mountain views, out of sight of the village and yet within walking distance of its shops and restaurants, thus enjoying one of the finest positions in the Franschhoek Valley.

After a delicious and leisurely breakfast on the terrace, laze under an umbrella by the pool during the long summer days, or curl up in front of a cosy log fire in winter. Discover one of the quiet shady spots in the garden for reading or just gazing at the view and absorbing the heady scent of lavender and roses.

For the more energetic there is plenty to do locally, ranging from wine and food tasting at the many wine estates in the valley, to golf, fly-fishing, horseback and bicycle riding, all of which we can arrange for you.

Each of the six bedrooms has been individually decorated to provide an elegant and extremely comfortable retreat for guests. Pure cotton bed linen, bathrobes and heated towel rails are provided to ensure your every comfort.
