Description
Kvalsvig Cottage is a spacious, affordable, self-catering beach cottage,160km south of Durban at Munster. It sleeps 12 and is nestled in sub-tropical coastal bush. It is perfect for family holidays, nature-lovers, bird-watchers, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
The secluded, pet-friendly Munster beach is 100m away, and the lagoon and rock pools provide magical entertainment. A sandbank makes for gentle ocean swims at low tide and a good shore-break at high tide for the more adventurous.
The central courtyard provides a safe outside area for small children and dogs, and a sunny shelter from the wind on blustery days. There is a braai and a large, outside dining table for outdoor entertaining.
The Wild Coast Casino, Mpenjati Nature Reserve, Mtumvuna Gorge, two world-class golf courses, and various shops, restaurants and pubs are all a short drive away.

The cottage features three double bedrooms, one with a double bed, the others with two singles, another spacious bedroom with a bunk bed and two singles. There is a full bathroom, a separate shower, and another toilet in the cottage. Leading off the central courtyard is another en-suite bedroom with a double bed.
The cottage has a spacious lounge and dining area with a long dining room table that easily seats twelve. The lounge opens onto the lawn and riverine bush, where buck, mongooses and vervet monkeys often appear. For the odd cool evening there is a fireplace.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, crockery and cutlery, a microwave, an additional freezer and a bar-fridge.
There is a single lock-up garage leading into the courtyard area. The property is fenced and the house has a monitored burglar alarm.
