Kusini Beach Cottages
About Kusini Beach Cottages
Welcome to Kusini Beach Cottages, a small tourist complex built in front of one of the most beautiful white sand beaches along the Kenyan coast. Kusini Beach Cottages are furnished in a Swahili style and consists of five cottages, with each unit enjoying a lovely sea view and being named according to the winds and wind directions in Swahili - Pepo meaning wind, Mashariki meaning East, Magharibi meaning West, Kusini meaning winds from the South an Kaskazi meaning winds from the North.
The cottage rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished with double or single beds; an extra bed can also be added at an additional cost. The bathrooms are en-suite or private and consist of a shower only. Linen and towels as well as mosquito nets are provided and the rooms also have ceiling fans.
The kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering and guests can buy the necessary food and drinks at the local shops. Each cottage also has a personal chef and waiter or room steward to cover your needs and is in charge of catering and cleaning to make your stay more unforgettable. In addition, all the cottages also have barbecue equipment, so that guests can enjoy fish and seafood fresh from the sea.
The pace and tracks to the cottages are covered by white sand from the beach giving guests the opportunity to walk barefoot from the moment they arrive at Kusini. Inspired by the magnificent surroundings, the swimming pool is raised to create the effect that it emerges from the beach, giving the feeling of being the stern of a boat. The Colubus and Syke monkeys are commonly seen in any of the beautiful trees in the garden.
From Kusini, taxis can easily be organized, at an additional cost, to take guests to several restaurants that offer a variety of cuisines from Japanese, Swahili or African as well as pizzerias, bars and discotheques along Diani Beach. Guests can also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities from kite and wind surfing, sailing on catamarans and getting close to the marine reef coral, just in front Kusini Beach Cottages, or going snorkelling, with equipment provided. For the divers, there are a variety of spots that can be visited and canoes can also be provided. Soccer is played by the locals on the beach and guest can also go on camel walks or rent a mountain bike.
