Kurhula Lodge

Enjoy our unique intimate lodge amidst an unfenced natural garden on the banks of the Olifants River. It is unique in its way because you can walk freely near the river.

Kurhula has an exceptional view and offers a true safari experience including a wide variety of fauna and flora. It is the ideal place for seeing wildlife. Located within Balule Game Reserve, we offer excellent personal service. The lodge’s ideal location makes it possible to see all the highlights of the area. After a day of outdoor excitement, you can relax at Kurhula Wildlife Lodge.

The lodge has four double rooms, each accessible via its own entrance with a porch offering an exquisite view of the Olifants River. All accommodation is on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. We serve a sumptuous breakfast on the veranda of the main lodge. At night we serve an African three-course meal with a European touch. Should you have any special dietary requirements, please notify us beforehand and we will make sure that all requests are met.

We can organize game drives and bush walks in the reserve under the guidance of an experienced ranger; advance booking is required. You can enjoy our bush garden, swimming pool with comfortable chairs or relax on the veranda of your room.
