Immaculate cottage
We loved our stay in this immaculate ,well-equipped cottage. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and the fridge was bursting with goodies like home-made jam, home baked bread, butter, farm eggs and fruit for our breakfast ... a lovely surprise.
In the morning we could watch the Samango monkeys cavorting in the trees while we had a lie-in. As an added treat Sherzad let us have a peek at her Aladdin's cave of beautiful persian carpets ... all for sale at wonderful prices. Next tim ... more

Wonderful time
Although we only spent three nights we had a wonderful time. Kuhestan cottages is highly recommended for a peaceful relaxing time. The cottages is furnished tastefully and stylish. Exchanging a TV for a romantic fireplace is one of the many thing which made our stay so special.
Brett and Sharzad are wonderful hosts and took care of every need.
We will definitely be back to visit this wonderful farm soon!!

The cottages and surrounding area are great. We actually saw Samango monkeys practically on our doorstep. We found the hospitality outstanding! We will definitely be back!!!

Description
Touching indigenous Afro-montaine forests on the crest of the majestic Magoebaskloof pass and situated in the grounds of an organic avocado farm, rest the Kuhestan Farm Cottages. Each of the four cottages comprises a fully furnished, double (or two three-quarter beds) room, with its own en-suit bathroom - including a heated towel rail. Serviced daily, each cottage is tastefully furnished with easy chairs in front of a wood-burning fireplace and a fully equipped, quality kitchenette. The cottages are designed for couples, or couples with children who can be accommodated in an adjoining cottage, which is connected through an inter-leading door. Complimentary provisions include home baked bread, muesli, eggs, milk, butter, fruit, tea and coffee – all yours to enjoy for a self-catering breakfast. Dinner bookings can be made, on request and braai facilities are available. For the more adventurous, Persian meals and recipes can also be arranged. With easy access to all the various activities on offer in the area, the Kuhestan Farm Cottages offer an unforgettable experience for all who visit us.
