Kruger Cottage

We welcome you to Kruger Cottage which is a charming thatched house in a unique area of the earth. The cottage is located in Marloth Park, nestled against the south edge of the Kruger National Park. Nature watching opportunities abound in Marloth Park which has no fences, allowing game animals to roam freely.

Kruger Cottage is a private, self-catering house that comfortably sleeps six to eight guests. There is an open-plan living area and a vaulted thatch roof which form a comfortable common area that connects to a covered verandah with a splash pool and outdoor barbecue. The master bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom. Tiled floors throughout the house lead you to the verandah and pool where you can listen to the sounds of the hippos grunting in the river, the hooting of the owls and other wildlife as you enjoy the evening from the comfort of Kruger Cottage.

The Crocodile River is a short 100 m walk from Kruger Cottage and it allows you an elevated view of all of the wildlife gathering at the water's edge. Take a morning walk or drive with a coffee cup in hand, bring your camera and binoculars and even a folding chair and be ready to see an amazing variety of bird life, as well as an abundance of larger animals.

A local shop provides the basic essentials and if you wish to eat at a local restaurant, there are two lodges from which to choose. Kruger Cottage offers competitive rates. The house is professionally cleaned once a week, but other arrangements may be made.

Please note that rates displayed is for two guests and each guest thereafter pays up to R100 per person.
