Kouwenburg guest farm is situated on the border of the Graaff-Reinet and Richmond districts, in the heart of the Sneeuberg Mountains, 43 km from the N1. Nature lovers and guests who want to escape the rat race will enjoy their stay at our fully equipped self-catering guest farm.

Families can enjoy hiking trails, bird watching, game viewing and day-to-day farm activities. Winter visitors might be fortunate to experience snowfalls. Kouwenburg guest farm is an hour's drive from the historic Graaff-Reinet and 45 minutes from the famous Owl House in Nieu-Bethesda. Get away to Kouwenburg and enjoy peace and tranquility.

Baie dankie vir die geleentheid om op die plaas te slaap. Was verras en baie beindruk met die huis. Alles het gespreek van klas en ons het elke oomblik geniet. Dankie vir die vriendelike ontvangs en ons sal graag weer daar oornag as ons weer Kaap toe gaan. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this establishment. We were surprised and impressed by the house. Everything was very classy and we enjoyed every moment of it. Thank you for the friendly reception. We will definitely make use of this farm again.

The guesthouse consists of 4 bedrooms and amenities. - Double room with en-suite bathroom. (Shower) Second room with double and single bed. Third room with two single beds and baby cot. Fourth room with double bed, three single beds and a baby cot. The TV/Dining room is very spacious and has a big fireplace for those romantic nights. The second bathroom has a bath, basin and separate toilet. All linen and towels are provided for our guests. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, microwave, fridge/ freezer, kettle, toaster, AGA stove and all cutleries. A chest freezer is also available. Kouwenburg Guest Farm is a self-catering guesthouse. Guests are welcome to bring their own DSTV smart card. There is cell phone reception on the farm, as well as Eskom Power.
