Kondensmelk

Kondensmelk is a beautiful restored "dorpshuisie" that sleeps up to six guests. The home offers guests an authentic small-town experience and is located just three blocks from the beautiful Vaal River and a mere 300 m from the town's main road, with its antique dealers, gift shops and great eateries.

The house features original Oregon floors and ceilings, and is decorated simply and tastefully, with lots of quirky touches. Accommodation is offered in three bedrooms. The main room is very spacious, with a queen-sized bed, French doors leading onto a small patio, and a brand new en-suite bathroom. The house also comprises a spacious living room, an eat-in country kitchen, a separate shower with a second toilet, and a wraparound veranda with a Weber braai and patio furniture for al fresco dining. Off-street parking for two cars behind lockable gates is also provided.

Tahe large stand boasts a typical small-town garden with lots of fruit trees an d lawn for kids to run around on.  There is no DStv, however a good selection of DVDs and board games will keep everybody entertained on rainy afternoons.  The idea with Kondensmelk, is to offer an authentic platteland stay for city folk. Personal touches, like a tin of condensed milk for your coffee as a welcoming gift, adds to the overall experience.
