Description
Kohandè is situated in the scenic Leeuwkloof Valley Conservancy in Gauteng, just north-east of Pretoria at Dewagensdrift in the heart of Dinokeng, making it the ideal destination for nature lovers.
We offer three luxury tents with en-suite bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchenette with fridge/freezer, making self-catering a pleasure. Each tent is private, with its own lovely panoramic view over the bushveld where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets and listen to the call of jackals. Enjoy sundowners at the lapa by the private dam or in the privacy of your tent's barbecue facility.
Free-roaming game such as kudu, eland, and nyala to name a few can be viewed at leisure and Kohandè is also a bird watcher's paradise, with parrots, flycatchers and many more inhabiting our valley.
Kohandè is within easy reach of Pretoria, Johannesburg, the East and West Rand as well as Oliver Thambo International Airport. We are also 20 km away from Cullinan which is renowned worldwide for its diamonds and the DB Five Game Reserve is virtually on our doorstep. The area is malaria-free and boasts a very moderate climate.
