Perfect for family holidays. Children can play, run, climb, cycle, quads or do what there hearts desire.
The rock pools and streams offer safe and relaxing areas.
Children are most welcome. . Large lawns where they can play games.

We specialize in 4 x 4 trails. Trails from grade 3 to 5 and extreme . Guided trips and self drive. Hike, climb mountains, mountain biking, go ski-ing, bird watching, star gazing, and more. We really offer a fantastic outdoor experience.

Description
Nestled deep in the heart of the Southern Drakensberg region of the Eastern Cape, directly adjacent to the historic village of Rhodes, lies the Kinmel Mountain Retreat Guest Farm. The nearly 1000 ha of farm in family hands since 1886, offers our guests freedom, peace and tranquility. Kinmel is a nature lovers paradise, with it's magnificent mountains, pristine rivers with it's rock pools and waterfalls, open space with crisp clear mountain air. Activities include, fly-fishing for trout, ski-ing during winter, bird-watching, hiking from short easy stroll to full day strenous climbs, mountain biking, quad and 4x4 trails, star-gazing, picnicking, swimming in the river, playing in the rock pools and many other activities.

The glass sliding patio doors lead onto a spacious verandah from where you can spend hours viewing the Drakensberg mountains.
