Kibale Forest Camp

Kibale Forest Camp offers a unique classic canvas experience in the form of African safari-style tents set in a lush forested surrounding. Complemented by excellent food and service, the camp provides the perfect base from which to explore the area. Where better to capture the thrill of a howling black and white colobus or to listen to the wood owl calling his partner than from the comfort of a spacious, en-suite tent?

The tents are comfortably furnished with twin or double beds and each unit has its own private en-suite bathroom with an eco-friendly toilet, a dressing room and a bush shower. Seated from your private verandah, the red, black and white colobus can often be observed in the dense camp surrounding.

Kibale Forest National Park is renown for its excellent chimpanzee tracking and lives up to the expectation of being the best place to see our close relative. The forest also harbours the greatest variety and concentration of primates of any forest in East Africa. With 13 species recorded, great primate viewing is guaranteed. Along with bountiful bird varieties in the area, the camp couldn't have been better located to enjoy the wonders of the forest.
