Facilities

Kiara’s Guesthouse is a double-storey facebrick house with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are serviced daily and guests have use of a large swimming pool and braai facilities. Guests must provide their own towels for swimming. We are close to all malls, restaurants, entertainment and the most beautiful sight-seeing places around.

We have a lapa which our guests are most welcome to use and enjoy a game of pool or darts, but their own darts must be supplied. The lapa offers a TV and we have an African grey in a cage, a small marmoset monkey and two Yorkshire dogs. If guests are scared of dogs, we will close them up for the time our guests are here. Guests are also allowed to bring their own beverages to the lapa and sit in the bar area, or outside by the pool.

I would like to bring to your attention that we had a very bad experience at Kiara Guesthouse. We booked and paid for the honeymoon suite R1600 for two nights. On our arrival we were informed that other guests apparently invaded our room and the room was not available but a self catering unit which goes for R400 per night was. This room is below standard. The bedding was dirty, the towels old, the bathroom mats not washed in years, the plaster falling from the walls, mildew growing on the bathroom tiles, the room stinking.
