Khumbulani truly is THE BEST backpackers' accommodation we stayed in on our recent trip. It feels like a HOME, and from the fresh-picked leechis to the lovely swimming pool to the self-catering kitchen with EVERYTHING, this is WAY MORE than a typical backpackers', which made for a very pleasant and relaxing stay. We has a wonderful stay at Khumbulani Lodge, it was one of the best places we stayed at on our South Africa trip. Any question we had relating to our stay, activities available etc. was answered with an unbelievable amount of knowledge and information. The facilities are second to none, the Lodge is so comfortable and the atmosphere created is so relaxing and homely. We are 32 ms from Hluhluwe/iMfolozi Game Reserves, 28 kms from St Lucia and 54 kms from Richards Bay Airport.
