Situated at the southern gateway to the Kruger National Park, Khumbula iAfrica is an affordable, luxurious, air-conditioned and serviced eight-sleeper home. It comes complete with a private plunge pool, waterhole and lock-up garage.

The cottage is thatched, cosy and self-contained, set in the tranquil surroundings of the African bushveld with a view over the Kruger National Park. It is frequented by abundant bird life and game both large and small. The cottage offers the comfort of home combined with the mood of the bushveld. Witness the dust stirred by elephants, the thrill of the nearby rhino, the fleeting glimpse of a leopard, the chilling roar of a lion and the threatening gaze of the imposing buffalo right on your doorstep.

African Safari: Being situated on a nature reserve, the plains game come to us. They frequent our waterhole just metres from the house. Walk along the fenced Crocodile River and see members of the Big 5.

There are two bathrooms with hot and cold water. The splash pool adjoins the patio in the boma overlooking the waterhole. The upper deck overlooks the Kruger National Park. The cottage is fully serviced twice daily and the boma fire and torches are lit each night. Security includes a lock-up garage, alarm system with armed response and a patrolman during the evening. A short walk brings you to the edge of the Crocodile River.

The Internet showsis just a small part of what you get! It is really a lovely place and Shirley and Zak is really a good team to have! Clean, very smart décor and the air-conditioning is a must! It is so close to the Kruger National Park, we did a day trip up to Pretoriuskop! Kumbula iAfrika is our new home from home. The whole family enjoyed the short stay. The bird life, bush baby family staying at the house and other wildlife made it a treat! We will be back with family and fri ... more

A fabulous home spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Awesome surroundings with privacy. Tranquil and Serene is the words to describe the place. Definitely a place to visit over and over again.
