Kenjara Lodge is a homely country retreat nestled in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind. The surrounding area was declared a Wold Heritage Site in 1999, an area of 48 000 hectares. Kenjara Lodge is small and comfortable and tastefully decorated in true African fashion, the perfect place for a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. What is better than comfortable accommodation, good food and excellent service?

We are just 30 minutes from Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria and 20 minutes from Krugersdorp and Roodepoort, making us easily accessible. Come and relax and unwind in the tranquility of our gardens and surroundings. Situated only 1 km from the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, you can fall asleep to the sounds of lions roaring. Game drives can be arranged in the park where you can see White Lion, Tawny Lion, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Tiger, Hippo, Rhino, Eland, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Sable and many other species. The retreat is the perfect venue for conferences, corporate brainstorms, teambuilding initiatives, weddings, family gatherings, birthday bashes, or just a romantic getaway.
