We invite you to experience the historic atmosphere and colonial charm of Kearsney Manor. Situated on an original sugar estate, Kearsney Manor is an old English mansion built in the late 1800s, by Sir Liege Hulett. This magnificent old colonial estate is recognised as a Heritage Site and once housed the original Kearsney College. The estate has recently been renovated and is situated 80km from Durban on the Natal North Coast.
Kearsney Manor, with its Colonial English decor, comprises 15 bedrooms with affordable rates and offers total relaxation an exclusivity for your private function.
Our beautiful old stone chapel, surrounded by sugar cane, boasts tremendous character and comfortably seats 100 people. Kearsney Manor is the perfect venue for weddings, conferences, corporate events or any other special occasion. Our conference venue can accommodate between 10 - 60 delegates.
Kearsney Manor, with it’s colonial English décor, comprises 15 bedrooms with affordable rates and offers total relaxation. Our suites are tastefully furnished with en-suite bathrooms consisting of both bath and shower.
All rooms have beautiful views of the surroundings.
We can accommodate 30 guests in 13 double rooms and one family room with adjoining bathroom.
Additional B&B accommodation in the area is available on request.
Our Honeymoon Suite boasts a king size bed and this we offer complimentary to the bride and groom on their special night.
Our newly renovated conference centre, with specially fitted acoustic ceiling, can accommodate between 10-70 delegates. If we don’t have the necessary equipment needed for your conference, we’re more than happy to hire it for you, as long as you give us reasonable notice.
Kearsney Manor’s kitchen is in the hands of our resident chef, Chris Coetzee, who with his wealth of experience, promises a fine dining experience. Breakfast and lunch can either be served in the diningroom or on the verandah. Besides our delicious dining, we offer a selection of Cape wines whose labels are also steeped in history.
