Katse Lodge

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge, great place for families. Management can do a thourough check on units before guests arrive, utensils were missing and plugs weren't working. Other than that it's a beautiful area.

The Katse Lodge offered us a nice, clean and large selfcatering unit. Also the buffet you can take in the restaurant of the lodge is huge. Very nice views of the lake and the impressive dam.

Booking on a D, B&B basis did not bring us far...kitchen close at 22h00, but when we arrived there just after 21h00 had to find out that they've closed the kitchen as they weren't busy, which left us with no dinner and only coffee after the long drive from Sani. We tried to phone them, also without success. The rooms were clean, but don't think the accommodation is worth the payment.

We enjoyed our stay. The food was good the rooms clean and neat but the hotel needs some repairs and a facelift. The bathrooms are not up to standard and a reading lamp at the bedside will be apprecaited.

Friendly staff, no problems with booking. House is average but still way better than what we had for accomodation at other place.
