Set on the beautiful shores of Lake Kariba, Kariba Bush Club's guesthouses offer the perfect break to appreciate the wonders of Zambia. Both houses are fully furnished and self-contained - they are both spacious, private, comfortable and offer spectacular viewsof Lake Kariba.
With us you can experience the challenge of tiger fishing under the eye of the great variety of wildlife on our private islands that include eland, kudu, sable, hartebeest, defasa waterbuck, zebra, blue wildebeest, impala, reedbuck, warthog, bushpig, hippo, crocodile and occasional elephants to name some, as well as the spectacular birdlife that Kariba is home to. Explore the islands on a guided bush walk, visit one of the worlds largest commercial Nile crocodile farms, enjoy one of the lake’s most famous spectacles from the water on a sunset cruise or from a canoe, spend a lazy day relaxing by the swimming pool and enjoying the magnificent view over the rolling green lawns that run down to the lake shorw or wine and dine with loved ones in our lake-view restaurant that offers a selective menu and fully-stocked bar.
Marula House comfortably accommodates 10 adults, Baobab House accommodates 6 adults. These comfortable farm-style houses offer a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, DSTV, swimming pool, BBQ facilities and plenty of fridge and freezer space. All housekeeping chores including making fires and laundry are taken care of by the friendly and helpful staff, leaving your days free to enjoy the many activities on offer. Nestled at the top of a ridge alongside a massive Baobab tree, Baobab House offers spectacular views of Lake Kariba; the infamous sunsets can be seen without having to move further than the verandah. Baobab House is a double storey cottage that is fully furnished and fully self-contained, just a short walk away from the main lodge swimming pool, volleyball court, lake-view restaurant and well-stocked bar.
