Kanga Camp

Description

Set in the most remote part of the World Heritage Site in the Mana pools is the Kanga Pan, not too far from the Chitake Springs. This diverse area has multiple open vlei lines, river systems of the Ruckomechi River.

The tented camp has en-suite bathroom facilities, outdoor showers and basins overlooking the waterhole. One of the tents is a family tent with its own private dining and seating area. Relax in the upper deck lounge under the shade of a mahogany or sit on the deck below near the splash pool and enjoy Kanga, the old Africa in a new era.

The Kanga Pan itself is the only known water source available throughout the year, making it a hub for wildlife and a delight to explore on foot. This pristine and undeveloped area gives you a pure, unspoilt, private African safari experience. Besides game drives and walking excursions, an hour’s drive brings you to the Zambezi flood plains in Mana pools which is great for canoeing and fishing. One of the main highlights during your stay is “Kanga under the Stars”. This is an opportunity to sleep on an open platform and experience the magnificence of the African night sky.

All rates include accommodation, all meals, all beverages except premium imported spirits and champagne, two game viewing activities per day, national park entry fees, laundry and transfers from nearest airstrip.
