What a lovely, peaceful place!
We had a lovely stopover on our way to Pilgrims Rest for a wedding. Sonja and her husband were magnificent and met us at the cottage at 10pm with no problem. Everything was clean and beautifully looked after and we had a wonderful nights sleep - what a lovely, peaceful place!

Great Relaxing Weekend
Our overall stay was very relaxing and the cottage was well stocked with everything we could have needed for cooking, braaing and a very relaxing weekend. The fireplace was a definite bonus as the nights were spent sitting very close due to the chilly winter nights

Description
Just 1 More Cast Cottages is a cluster of TGCSA 3 Star, AA recommended cottages under thatch and tin in the quaint historical village of Machadodorp, just off the N4 highway. Accommodation is self catering. Facilities include fully equipped kitchens, all cutlery and crockery, luxury bedding and towels, log fire places, braais and garden furniture, DStv and home theatre systems, books and games, full tourist information, large enclosed garden and garaging. Walk from the cottages to shops, historical sites, restaurants, pubs and park.
Accommodation is ideal for couples, families or large family/friends groups for weekend or mid week breaks or holidays. Great stop over in the Mpumalanga Highlands for trout fishers, historians (S African wars and stone age history), assailers and rock climbers, hikers, horse riders, for travellers en route to Kruger Park, Mozambique or Swaziland, or for the recharging and revival of victims of the urban rat race. The village’s air is fresh and restful, and the village sounds include the sleepy trains occasionally chuffing by, and the chimes of the church clock tower. Be transferred back into an era of peace & tranquility.
Cottages are named after fishing flies. Duckworth’s Dargle Delight is a six bed thatched cottage with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, two bathrooms and two double and two single bedrooms, one in the loft. Wickham’s Fancy is a spacious 4 bed family cottage with breakfast bar, living area, king size bed and bunk beds, shower and toilet. Cat’s Whisker and Blue Dunn are cosy couple cottages with dining table (Blue Dunn) or breakfast bar (Cat’s Whisker), shower and toilet and living areas.
Please note: We still have World Cup availability. One hour drive to Nelspruit and two and a half an hour drive to Johannesburg.
