Description

Jivoly is a house full of cheer and charm which is situated minutes away from Silver Sands Beach. The owner has taken great care in making the house an ideal beach house with an outside shower and beautiful fynbos garden at the back.

The house has two bedrooms; the first bedroom has twin beds and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom offering a shower. The two bedrooms are downstairs and the third bedroom is upstairs with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom.

There is an open-plan kitchen with a fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and an electric oven with gas hobs. The kitchen leads into the open-plan dining room and lounge. The lounge has an indoor fireplace and a braai area. The balcony leads from the indoor braai area to the main bedroom and has beautiful sea views. An enclosed patio at the back gives shelter against the wind and sun.

This part of the world is considered the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom due to the exceptional examples of fynbos and has largely remained unspoilt and isolated. Although the Cape Floral Kingdom is the smallest of the world’s six plant kingdoms, it nevertheless has the second largest diversity. The reserve stretches along the coast from Gordons Bay through to the town of Kleinmond and inland from the farms of the Elgin Basin through to Grabouw - a total of some 100,000 hectares.
