About Jamila Game Lodge
Set in the northern side of the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, this Big 5 private game lodge is set in a piece of pristine African wilderness. Surrounded by the ancient Waterberg Mountains, abundant wildlife and unspoiled African bush, Jamila Lodge offers guests an intimate and relaxed safari experience.
With five beautifully appointed chalets, we accommodate a maximum of 10 guests at a time. Surrounded by striking Seringa trees and spectacular views from the hilltops, each chalet has an en-suite bathroom, an outside shower, and a private deck and Jacuzzi. Experience simple luxury in your beautiful chalet and enjoy the personalized service. A feast of flavours will complete your experience with meals being served in different locations every night. You can dine on the main deck or in lamp light alongside the gently illuminated waterhole. Guests can round off their break by enjoying a wonderful supper in the boma.
Snacks such will be served with the sun downers in the bush on the afternoon game drive. Biscuits, rusks, tea and coffee is served on the early game drive.
Dinner consists of a variety of three meats when a boma supper is requested. A choice of two meats is available when dinner is requested in other location; such as the deck. Two game drives per day are conducted by our experienced nature guide, who has been working on the Welgevonden Game Reserve for many years. With his exceptional knowledge of the animals and the area, game drives will certainly be a highlight.

Fantastic lodge, friendly, accommodating staff, very relaxing. The highlight would definitely be the private Jacuzzi on each chalet's deck. Will definitely be going back!
We really felt at home, it was our first stay at a game lodge, we had wonderful game drives with Sam, wonderful dinner in such a wonderful place!
We stayed at Jamila for our honeymoon and it was the BEST time in our life. The Management and Staff are very friendly and the environment so relaxing and beautiful. The food is amazing, the views gorgeous and the Jacuzzi on your deck is a big bonus. Not to mention the outside shower. We will definitely return to Jamila.
Very nice and stylish lodge (personal Jacuzzi on the terace! and open air shower). Excellent service, tasty food and always keen to find the Big Five on their game drives.
Susan and I were guests February 28-March 1, 2012. Our regret was that we did not have an extra night! The position of the lodge and the view from the verandah was breathtaking. The accommodation was beautifully designed, sufficiently luxurious and immensely comfortable. The view overlooking the watering hole was spectacular. The game drives were exceptional and the overall intimacy of dining and sharing the game drives with fellow guests made it very warm anf friendly(we were lucky that the other guests were very compatible company). The food was varied, very tasty and plentiful and... see more
