Jajama Panorama

Jajama Panorama is a beautiful resort situated on the shore of Lake Bunyonyi near Kabale in southwest Uganda and opposite the Rutinda Market. Located on the hillside, it gives excellent views of the lake.

We have a large restaurant and 10 cottages all built in traditional Ugandan style but offering modern comforts and conveniences such as electricity, showers or baths and flush toilets. The restaurant offers a wide range of local and international food and drinks including crayfish, rabbit, lamb and goat. We also specialize in pizzas and pastas.

We offer motor boat trips to explore the lake which has several branches and about 30 islands; we can visit the Batwa People near the Rwandan border to see tribal dancing; and we can arrange birdwatching tours. Other activities include canoeing, swimming in the lake which is free of bilharzia, and hiking. We also have a nature trail within the resort which takes guests through woods and past the papyrus marsh which is also good for birding.
