Jackal's Den

Jackal’s Den is a rustic B&B in the heart of the beautiful African bushveld, situated on a small game reserve bordered by the Blyde river, 26 km outside of Hoedspruit.

On offer is a stone and thatch cottage that can sleep two guests. The unit has a double bed, an open-plan bathroom with shower, and rustic furnishings. All your bedding and linen are provided, as well as other amenities such as a tea and coffee-making facilities, a fan and a bar fridge. Outside, guests can make use of braai facilities and a swimming pool; the perfect solution during the hot summer days. Breakfast is provided and dinner can be arranged upon request.

The accommodation is ideal for people wishing to visit the Kruger Park; it is only a short drive away from the Orpen Gate. Animals on the game farm include jackal, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, kudu, nyala, ostrich, impala, waterbuck, hippo, crocodile, honey badger, civet, and many more. The game reserve is also a birder's paradise. Other activities in the area include panorama tours of the Blyde River Canyon, river rafting, and Big 5 game drives.
