As I was a self catering holiday, I found my hosts to be unobtrusive - and this enabled us to go about our business with remarkable ease and absolute satisfaction. The lack of unnecessary paper work at the venue made it even more enjoyable.

Our stay (two couples) was great. We stayed at a beautiful and all equipped clean house, in a very quiet place. The beds are great! We could relax a lot :D
The road to arrive there is an adventure, but I could do it easily with a Kia Picanto 1.1 (during the day and during the night). The lodge is close to very good restaurants and to Kruger Gate. On the way back to Pretoria, we decided to go to Graskop (only half hour from there).

Unfortunately we stayed there only one night in the last days of winter 2007. The lodges are situated in a beautiful garden near a river in quiet surroundings with a lovely pool area. Very helpful and warm people. It's excellent value for money. We would come back again without any doubt.

Four Bungalows designed in the African rondavel style with artistically constructed lofty thatched roofs, provide absolute privacy in exquisite and harmonious surroundings.
Reclining on the veranda and enjoying the view over the river with its water flowing gently around rocks and islands, is sheer magic.
The Cottage, lovingly and tastefully furnished, has a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living/dining room and two bedrooms, accommodating four people.
