Island Bush Camp
“..in a class of its own”
This small, personalised camp lies under a grove of mahogany trees on the only habitable island in the Luangwa River. The camp offers rustic accommodation in grass/reed huts, with the modern comforts of hot showers and running water. Each chalet has a private veranda overlooking the Luangwa River.
Island Bush Camp is 2 hours drive south of Kafunta River Lodge in a very remote, game-rich area of the southern section of the Park. In an area of complete solitude, far away from other operators, we offer exclusive walking safaris.
Island Bush Camp is seasonal and is open from 1st June to 1st November only.

These rates are per person per night sharing, inclusive of accommodation, all game activities (walking safari 1st June to 31st October), all meals and snacks, Park entry fees, laundry and transfer from Mfuwe Airport. Drinks are included in the Peak Season rate at Kafunta River Lodge only
