About Ingwenya View

Ingwenya View is a cosy double-storey holiday house situated in the popular Marloth Park Conservancy. The house which can sleep up to a maximum of eight people has four bedrooms. Three bedrooms have double beds and one has two single beds. The two bathrooms have showers only.

Bed Linen will be supplied as required and beds made up prior to guests arrival, towels are not provided. The lounge has a Flat screen TV, DVD player and a DStv decoder with smart card. Multi-choices new extra package can be activated for guests on request at no extra charge. This will be dependent on available signal; dish sometimes loses signal due to baboon activity and guests giving us 24 hours’ notice for smart card activation. The house has a dining area and the kitchen is fully equipped. The kitchen has a large fridge-freezer and a microwave oven. There are wall fans installed throughout the house. The house has an electrical feed but the stove and water heating are fed from a gas supply. It is serviced weekly and has an alarm system linked to the Field Security armed response. Braai facilities are provided and there is a large upstairs lookout decking over a double car port. The latest addition is a good quality splash pool which is installed adjacent to the house. It is 3M x 3M x 1.1M deep and has a pump (water kept on the pool).

At Ingwenya View we have sightings of the Big 5 from our upstairs decking with our resident hippos and crocodiles abundant in the Crocodile River. Frequent visitors to the house are zebra, kudu, impala, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, bushbuck, mongoose, genet and bush babies, not to mention the prolific birdlife which boasts over 300 of South Africa's finest species.

Children are more than welcome at Ingwenya View and should be encouraged to join you as viewing the passing animals is a memorable experience in itself. The world famous Kruger National Park is on our doorstep and there are great views across the Crocodile River into the Kruger from the upstairs decking. The Kruger Park's Malelane and Crocodile Bridge gates are approximately 25 km from Marloth Park which allows guests to spend the day in this mesmerising park while still being able to return and light the braai, take a dip in the pool and listen to the magical sounds of the African night which often includes the call of lion both within the Kruger Park and in Marloth's very own private reserve, Lionspruit.

If required by guests Ingwenya View may be able to arrange day trips into the Kruger National Park for guests at preferential rates. This is dependent on the availability of an open vehicle and qualified game ranger so advance notice would be essential.

Ingwenya View guarantees to give you the true experience of the African bushveld while enjoying and having a truly relaxing break away from the stresses of modern day life.

Safari: Wildlife roam freely through the conservancy which borders the Kruger National Park.

We were at Marloth park from the 7-10 august 2015.  It was a good stay.  Accomodation was reasonable. Very clean and well equipped. Lighting on the upstairs level very dim.  On the whole a pleasant weekend break away.

We enjoyed a fabulous 4-night stay at Ingwenya view. The house was well appointed, and we had the opportunity to see some game (especially elephants) drift down to the river to drink. Hippos and lions were certainly active participants to the night-time noise. We had regular visits from warthogs and zebra to the house. Access to the Kruger (via Crocodile Bridge) was quick. An enjoyable stay, in a comfortable and well-appointed house. Many thanks!

We had a great time at the House. Only recommendation is to tell Guests that regular Load shedding is going on. When Electricity failed we checked the Fuse box and found all in order so we started to worry that somebody from outside has disconnected the supply. Otherwise it was a great stay and we really relaxed with everything happening that was promised. We will not hesitate to go back.
