Idle & Wild is on a working farm. The Sabie River runs through our property and peaceful walks can be taken.
Each Rondavel is privately set in sub-tropical garden. With own Kitchenette, verandah and braai (barbeque).
Luxury / Honeymoon Rondavel have a private spa-bath, air-conditioning and 1 has a fireplace.
The double story cottage is ideal accommodation for four people traveling together. There are two bedrooms with bathroom en-suite. The cottage has a lounge with a fireplace, fully equipped kitchen opening onto a verandah overlooking the valley, where you can marvel at the beautiful sunsets and mountain views.
The rooms adjoin the main house, each having a lounge area within the room, with TV, bathroom en suite, air-conditioning & a kitchenette. There are separate entrances 1 off a private court yard. The Sunbird room also has a small room containing a double bunk bed and its own toilet and basin.
A full English breakfast is served on the veranda of the main house, or should you wish to make an early start to the Kruger National Park, a packed breakfast will be provided.
IDLE & WILD is ideally situated for a rejuvenating break in the heart of nature, or exploring the surrounding areas such as Kruger National Park, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Pilgrims Rest and the many waterfalls.
Hot air ballooning, river rafting, horse riding, hikes, bass fishing & cycling are just some of the activities in the area. Restaurants nearby. German and Afrikaans spoken. Wi-Fi
We offer Quad Bike Trails on site.

| Our split-level cottage is ideal to accommodate a four people. The Main bedroom has a queen size bed and bathroom en suite. The bedroom upstairs has two single beds and bathroom en suite. There is an open plan lounge with a fireplace and fully equipped kitchen, which opens onto a veranda ovelooking the valley, from where you can marvel at the beautiful sunsets and mountain views.
