Felt at home in the lovely clean and well maintained cottage. Priscilla made us feel very welcome. Our stay was very short, but we definitely intend on going back and spending more time there.
I will recommend staying there to everyone I know (and don't know).

We enjoyed our stay at Hunter's Lodge very much - we recommend it, there is everything you need (really I can't think of anything that was missing - the kitchen is very well equiped). It is a relaxing place and we will be back. Absolute value for money too.

TGC 4 Star graded Self-catering cottage, in the heart of the Midlands, 4km from Michael house and within easy reach of many Private Schools. Simple access 200m off the R103. Very central to all Wedding Venues in the Midlands.
The cottage has been tastefully converted and is situated on a small Stud Farm where we breed quality children's ponies.
Trout fishing & Golf can be arranged. The cottage has beautiful all round views of the hills in the Balgowan valley.
We are on the Midlands Meander route, close to many good eating establishments, 15 mins from Midmar Dam. It... The cottage can accommodate 4 Adults and 3 children. It has two Double Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms; 1 with bath & 1 with shower.
Sitting/dining room with fireplace and TV & M-Net. Attic upstairs with 3 beds. Fully fitted modern kitchen, Hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, Fridge/freezer, etc. Large veranda with Braai, Table and chairs, under roof, looking out onto pretty garden, with shady trees.
Electric blankets for all beds and electric heaters in bedrooms for the winter. The cottage is fully serviced.
You could also bring your horse or pony on holiday too!! Stable and paddock available at R50 per night. Lessons can be arranged with S.A.N.E.F. Instructor. Lovely outrides.

Main Bedroom - large 4x5m, Queen size bed. Plenty built-in cupboards Armchair and writing table.Attractive views.No. 2 bedroom- large 4x5m with twin beds or King size. Plenty built-in cupboards. 2 armchairs,also lovely views. Both Bedrooms have electric blankets and heaters. Feather or foam pillows.Attractive colour co-ordination & fitted carpets. Upstairs Attic has 3 single beds. Large bathroom with bath, basin and loo; and seperate Shower loo and basin. Very large veranda (covered) with Braai fireplace, opening onto attractive garden and looking out onto Stud Farm paddocks.
A special discount of 10% is given for midweek bookings (Mon to Thurs incl.) with the exception of Public holidays and school holidays.
Standard Rates: Adults R220p.p.p.n. & Children under 12yrs - R150,Minimum Charge of R900 per night for 4 Adults or less.
