TGC 4 Star graded Self-catering cottage, in the heart of the Midlands, 4km from Michael house and within easy reach of many Private Schools.

Simple access 200m off the R103. Very central to all Wedding Venues in the Midlands.

The cottage has been tastefully converted and is situated on a small Stud Farm where we breed quality children's ponies.

Trout fishing & Golf can be arranged. The cottage has beautiful all round views of the hills in the Balgowan valley.

We are on the Midlands Meander route, close to many good eating establishments, 15 mins from Midmar Dam. It is lovely walking,& bird watching countryside. We are also Pet Friendly.

The cottage can accommodate 4 Adults and 3 children. It has two Double Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms; 1 with bath & 1 with shower.

Sitting/dining room with fireplace and TV & M-Net. Attic upstairs with 3 beds. Fully fitted modern kitchen, Hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, Fridge/freezer, etc. Large veranda with Braai, Table and chairs, under roof, looking out onto pretty garden, with shady trees.

Electric blankets for all beds and electric heaters in bedrooms for the winter. The cottage is fully serviced.

Please note: Pensioners receive a 10% discount. Please enquire. A special discount of 10% is given for midweek bookings (Mon to Thurs incl.) with the exception of public holidays and school holidays.

Lovely, spacious cottage with all amenities provided - what you see on the website is what you get. The helpful owner made suggestions about where to eat out in the beautiful area. Conveniently located for the Midlands Meander.

We chose Hunters Lodge as it is very close to Granny Mouse, where we were attending a wedding. From a location point of view, it was perfect, and the accommodation was also great. It's fully kitted out with almost everything you need, particularly in the kitchen, and the rooms are spacious. The electric blankets were a nice touch! Very well appointed, The cottage had everything one would find at home - shower gel/tissues/shampoo etc, there was even tinfoil & clingwrap in the kitchen cupboard! No need to bring anything except your food and your self! Priscilla is the perfect host - a happy smiley person, always available yet unobtrusive which is what you want when away. Hunter's Lodge is set in a beautiful part of our already beautiful country. It has a homely and comfortable farm atmosphere. It was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our two night stay very much.

Felt at home in the lovely clean and well maintained cottage. Priscilla made us feel very welcome. Our stay was very short, but we definitely intend on going back and spending more time there. I will recommend staying there to everyone I know (and don't know).
