A really great place with friendly hosts. Great beer and the accomodation is very comfortable, homely and clean. The food Saire cooked for us was also excellent and healthy. We will back & I will recommend it to friends and family.

Situated approximately 22 km outside the town of Lydenburg, just past the highest point in the Long tom Pass, between Sabie and Lydenburg, in the province of Mpumalanga. Relax next to a log fire during misty evenings, and enjoy our home brewed beer, with excellent food and good company.Enjoy the breathtaking views of the magnificent Drakensberg in the well known Long tom Pass. one of the most beautiful mountain passes in South Africa. Also discover the less well known attractions such as the : • Stunning Lydenburg waterfall (serving a 3 MVA hydro power station) • Gustav Klingbiel nature reserve • Many trout fishing spots around the Lydenburg and Sabie area Hops Hollow allows easy access to the : • World famous Kruger National Park • Blyde River Canyon • Three Rondawels • Bourke's Luck potholes • God's Window The Lydenburg/Steelpoort area is also home to the world renowned Merensky reef where Chrome and platinum ore are mined and processed Our brewery is the highest brewery in Africa, which ensures the highest quality of water is used, at the right temperature, resulting in excellent hand crafted beer, to be enjoyed any time of the day!Still some way to go to the Kruger National Park, or looking for a romantic evening out?
