Very short stay (2 nights) but had a great time there. Excellent staff, unpretentious and very dedicated. Excellent dinner. Memorable Safari, all organized by Archie to the final details. We were all very pleased and I will certainly return with my family.

This is a superb place to stay. The service, food and wines were excellent and Archie and his team made us feel welcome the moment we opened the front door. The rooms are large and well decorated with all the luxury one can hope to find at a lodge. All rooms overlook the stunning Sundays river valley. I strongly recommend Hitgeheim to any traveller.

The staff was amazing, rooms were incredible: clean, beautifully decorated and designed well. Meals were quality and in a lovely setting, the scenery was phenominal, the host was totally entertaining and it felt like a true getaway. The Addo park guide arranged for us was wonderful (John).
