Hills and Dales consists of fully self catering accommodation along with B&B accommodation in the main homestead. The self catering accommodation is on a hill with a beautiful view overlooking the Jukskei River and hills and dales, whilst the B&B accommodation overlooks a lovely garden and has the use of an inside spa outside the rooms. The property is adjacent to the Lanseria Airport providing a peaceful getaway 40 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the environs of Joburg and Sandton. Hills and Dales is within the tourist supply zone for the Cradle of Humankind. The farm is located in an area that teams with all sorts of public activities from ballooning and fishing to elephant riding, wildlife parks and historical caves. Birdlife abounds. The surrounds are secure and spacious protected by two, twenty-two strand, alarmed electric fences around the property. Hills and Dales is suitable for : overnight travelers from Lanseria Airport, collection can be arranged; overnight accommodation for wedding guests as there are many wedding venues in the area; visiting business people looking for accommodation in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of town; people looking for a quiet break and wanting to do their own catering; people wanting a base to travel from i.e. Crocodile Ramble, Sterkfontein and Wonder Caves, Hartbeespoort Dam etc; party / office groups, bachelor parties, hen parties, family reunions and the like; people looking for longer term accommodation whilst relocating, building etc Hills and Dales is NOT suitable for : people wanting restaurant or pub facilities. We do not have a restaurant / pub on the property; people wanting a holiday resort, especially for children; people wanting 5 star, Sun City type accommodation with all the bells and whistles; people wanting reception facilities with personalised and constant attention.
