Description
Highfields Backpackers is one of the longest established backpacker accommodation establishments in Knysna.
Situated in a beautiful, historical building overlooking the famous Knysna Lagoon, Highfields Backpackers is a mere two minute walk from the centre of town where holidaymakers can enjoy all the attractions that Knysna has to offer. From the magnificent lagoon with its varied watersports to cosmopolitan shopping, wonderful restaurants or appealing nightlife, it is not too far to stagger home after a fun evening.
If you prefer, you can hang out at the pool or around the cosy fireplace and enjoy a relaxing beer while you swap travel stories with local residents and visitors from all over the world.
We offer family rooms, double and twin rooms, as well as dormitories. Breakfasts and evening meals are also available on request. Outdoor activities can be arranged to suit your preference, level of fitness and sense of adventure.
