The Hide Away


We've stayed in many B&B's in the RSA over the last few years and this one definitely takes the cake! The warm personal welcome and coffee on the pool deck with the owners, the private breakfast served on the verandah whilst overlooking the Knysna lagoon and the heads are stunning. The rooms are very comfortable with fully stocked bar fridge and all. The decor is superb and rooms etc. well maintained. Description



This beautiful Cape Colonial property is set opposite the tranquil waters of the picturesque Knysna Lagoon and is close to town - it's a mere 10 minute walk into Knysna or to the bustling Knysna Waterfront.

Your South African hosts, Cecil and Colleen Harding have committed themselves to ensuring that their guests have a wonderful experience whilst staying with them.

They will be there to personally meet you on arrival and will further assist you with planning your activities for the duration of your stay with them.

Cecil and Colleen, have been in the travel industry for many years, and are happy to pass on their recommendations as to where to go once you leave their Garden of Eden.

On offer are a total of seven luxuriously appointed rooms. Five rooms in the Guest House which comprise of two executive rooms on the ground floor and three superior rooms on the first floor which offer fantastic views of the lagoon and Knysna Heads. Two additional rooms without views are located in the Main House.

Each tastefully decorated bedroom is en-suite with five rooms flowing out onto timber decks that overlook the Knysna Lagoon and majestic 'Knysna Heads'.

All rooms have television, fans, heaters, hairdryers, gowns and a fully stocked mini-bar and tea/coffee making facilities. Telephone and Internet services are available at Reception.

Outdoor activities include swimming, bird watching, boating, canoeing, fishing and plenty more, while rainy days will see you in restaurants and shops, viewing wildlife and the amazing scenery on the many drives.
