Description
Our beautiful historic 2 star hotel offers 12 recently renovated ensuite rooms, all with air conditioning and DSTV. The hotel facilities include an a la carte restaurant, 2 bars, a pool table, a lounge and a swimming pool. Heidelberg, situated on the banks of the Duivenhoks River, is ideally situated on the N2 at the beginning of the Garden Route and is only 1 1/2 hours from George and 2 1/2 hours from Cape Town. An ideal halfway stop between Cape Town and Knysna. Day trips to Wistsand, the whale nursery of Southern Africa, Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve( Redwood and yellowood forests), Route 62 and much more on offer in the area. An Eco-tourists dream. Bird watching is a must with the breeding grounds of the Blue Crane in the area. Heidelberg also has a scenic 9 hole golf course to offer.
