Hawklee Country House is set on 35 acres of undisturbed Midlands’s beauty, on the banks of the Lions River. Thatched bed and breakfast accommodation in ten spacious freestanding double-room cottages. All accommodation is en-suite and every Hawklee guest suite features a private Jacuzzi spa bath. We have 2 beautiful Honeymoon suites: Mallard with its very own cosy loft where you can relax and watch the Lions River running by. Guineafowl with its own private balcony offers you a splendid view over the garden and the Lions River. Tea garden, al la carte dining, cosy pub make Hawklee Country House the ideal venue for conferences, Weddings and peaceful retreats.
We are close to all amenities of the Midlands Meander and the beautiful Drakensberg Mountains. Scenic river and birding walks and only 1 ½ hours pleasurable drive to the coast.
