A dream come true!

For us this was the ultimate! The food and presentation was amazing with a combination of flavours and wine to die for. The rooms were tastefully decorated with all the added extras one could hope for form a highly professional team. We were made welcome from when we first arrived to when we left, with the staff always willing to go the extra mile. 02/03 January 2010 - Our 2nd visit to Hartford House was a delight. We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful surroundings, particularly having just arrived from busy Durban. We visited the stables and took time 'meeting' the horses. Our Garden Suite was very comfortable with a superb sleigh bed. The welcome drinks and fruit were most appropriate. My stay at Hartford House was one of the most unique vacation experiences in my life. The estate has more than 600 horses and is centered around a beautiful late-Victorian English Colonial home, full of antiques. The large garden and grounds are beautiful and the service was excellent. Hartford is an unbelievable travel bargain. The food and wine list is among the very best in the country. Excellent!
