A mere one hour drive from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town, you will find the town of Langebaan situated between a saltwater lagoon, which is rich in marine and birdlife, and the West Coast National Park. Here you will find Harrison’s House, located on a hillside, with spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset over the lagoon.

Harrison’s House is a 5 Star graded guest house which offers the discerning traveller luxury B&B accommodation in a tranquil and stylish setting. Attention to detail and supplying luxurious comfort is our speciality. We offer four rooms, individually decorated with high quality furnishings, which can accommodate eight guests in total.

The two Courtyard Rooms are located on the ground floor and the two Luxury Rooms are on the first floor, with breathtaking views. The town centre is a mere three-minute drive away, with restaurants and shops for your convenience.

Location: We offer spectacular views of the lagoon and the stunning West Coast sunsets. Located in a very quiet suburban area and close to the West Coast National Park entrance, we are also close to beaches where international kitesurfing takes place.

Fun: Situated near Club Mykonos Casino and the harbour, where high speed boat rides and sunset cruises are available. We are located a mere three minutes from the Cape Sport Centre where water sport equipment, bicycles, and kayaks can be rented.

Golf: A beautiful 18-hole golf course with grass greens is located a mere 10-minute drive away, at the Langebaan Country Club.

Great Outdoors: Horse riding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, cycling, the West Coast National Park, great fishing, and sailing are all available within a five-minute radius.

Honeymoon Romance: The two Luxury Rooms are ideal for romantic getaways and guests seeking an extra special touch. With breathtaking views and all the luxurious amenities you can think of, it is an ideal place for couples to relax and spend quality time.

Luxury: All rooms are air-conditioned, with electric blankets provided in winter. The two Luxury Rooms also offer underfloor heating, spa baths, rain showers, bathroom heaters, an electronic laptop safe, and a 32" LCD TV with DStv.

Business Traveller: We offer the businessman free Internet access in all rooms, as well as a packed breakfast option as takeaway for early departures. Rooms are equipped with a TV and DStv channels, and photocopying services are available.

Outstanding Views: From the two Luxury Rooms, which have floor-to-ceiling windows, there are absolutely stunning views of Saldanha Bay, the lagoon and even the breaking waves of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance.

First class accommodation. Karen pays enormous attention to detail from useful commodities in the bathroom to ample snacks and drinks in the room to flowers on the breakfast plate. The room is very well appointed. The breakfast was delicious with lots of homemade treats (the stewed fruit was scrumptious. And Archie is a delight!) We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Staying at Harrison's House over this weekend was sheer bliss. Karen Harrison is a wonderful hostess and was just the friendly face we needed after our trip from Cape Town. The place was in fact better than we expected - the room was impeccably stylish and comfortable. The facilities were superb, and very accommodating.
