We visited South Africa 2 years ago and visited Simon's Town ( ST ) and felt it would be a good base from which to visit Cape Town, Cape Point etc. It far exceeded our expectations both as a town and in the cottage. There is a frequent and safe one hour train journey to the centre of CT at a return fare of less than £ 2.00, ST has a number of excellent shops, good fish restaurants and good parking. Well equipped large lovely loft apartment. Friendly hosts. There is a very steep pathway to the entrance, so dont forget your climbing gear :). We had a lovely stay and would really recommend it.

We had a fabulous time in Simons Town. Although the weather didn't cooperate, we found lots to do and enjoyed every moment. Ros was a wonderful host and the place was just perfect, everything we needed! Thanks so much, we'll definitely recommend Harbour House to anyone we know who will be visiting the area.

A bit about this place
Located in Simons Town, Harbour House is a luxury apartment comprising your own private entrance and terrace, lounge, fully-equipped kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom with shower and bath.
All rooms and the terrace have stunning views over False Bay, and we are a four minute walk into the historic village of Simon's Town, with its excellent restaurants. The harbour, two beaches and the penguin colony are close by, and Cape Point a 20 minute drive away.
Close to the harbour, two beaches, the penguin colony and offering beautiful walks, fishing, yachting, kayaking and cycling facilities. Also wonderful whale viewing from September to November.

A luxury apartment within walking distance of Simon's Town. Harbour House has its own private entrance and terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean, and accommodation comprises a large lounge with upholstered suite and dining table and chairs, TV and desk. The kitchen is fully-equipped with washing machine, cooker, microwave, toaster, etc. The double bedroom has a wardrobe and chest of drawers, the bathroom has both shower and bath. There are also two divan beds in the lounge which fold away during the day.
