The loft catered for all our holiday needs. It is ideally situated, which enabled us to explore most of the surrounding attractions. We will surely be back.

We came down for the oyster festival half-marathon and had good intentions to do much more than run. However, due to the relaxing and pleasant vibe at the apartment we did virtually nothing. The dvd's were very welcome and we took full advantage of it. Oysters, champagne, breakfast, snacks, reading, just chilling and chatting on the deck at sunset was very soothing on the mind and body. Will definitely consider going back again.

Situated on an island marina in the middle of the Knysna lagoon, with controlled access, the Loft apartment is totally secure and conveniently close to town and within walking distance of local restaurants. The fully self contained apartment is on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the water and affords magical sunset views and outdoor entertaining. Completely private and luxuriously appointed, the spacious loft sleeps two comfortably with en-suite ‘his and hers’ bathroom and shower. The rooms are decorated in a subtle nautical theme with all the appliances required to make your stay as comfortable as possible; including microwave/grill/oven combo, fridge, espresso machine, TV, etc. M-net is available. Laundry can be arranged in town or by collection from the gatehouse. There is now a DVD facility with over 30 titles for those wet days when you just want to watch a movie in perfect clarity as well as Wi-Fi hotspot internet availability should you have an account with any of the wireless operators. In addition, an i-Pod music station is available to play your favourite tunes from your own i-Pod. Parking is available on site. The island has a wild bird sanctuary with viewing hide and an outdoor ‘putt putt' golf area, as well as tennis and squash facilities. Bicycles are available on request. The apartment is strictly no smoking.

The apartment is on the first floor and comprises 3 rooms plus a sundeck. Access is gained via a private entrance. There is a large lounge/kitchenette, bedroom with queen, extra length bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Facilities include a TV, DVD player and video library, espresso coffee & tea facilities. Sun deck is west facing and directly overlooks the water.
