The Halevy Heritage Hotel comes from humble beginnings in 1893, built by Moritz Leviseur as a boarding House for the theatre goers. The now Four Star Hotel is situated within the heart of Bloemfontein known as, ‘The City of Roses’. Its close proximity to all business and entertainment facilities makes it the ideal venue for weddings, conferences, events and training alike. The hotel is located on the corners of Markgraaff and Charles streets with gymnasiums and sporting facilities only a couple of minutes away.

Renovated in Victorian and Edwardian style and officially reopened on 01 November 2004, this is Bloemfontein’s most prestigious Four Star Luxury Hotel offering superior quality executive rooms. There are 21 luxury en suite bedrooms and they comprise of the following: 2 luxury honeymoon suites with a lounge and balcony area overlooking the streets and historic buildings of Bloemfontein; 5 luxury double rooms and 14 luxury twin rooms. All the bedrooms are en suite and offer very comfortable furnishings.
The Hotel’s Leviseur Restaurant provides Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. All menus are carefully designed by our chef and prepared under his guidance to ensure that the highest quality and standards are maintained. The hotel also offers an English Grande Terrace Tea Room that serves excellent quality light meals from mid morning to 18h00. The Bex Court Ladies bar depicts the surrounds of true English style and is just the right place to unwind before going through to enjoy a scrumptious dinner.
The state of the art conference centre consists of Colony 1 and Colony 2 and are able to host individual conferences and/or events while they can also be combined to form one large venue. Their capacity ranges from 10 to 150 delegates. The Hotel supplies all conference venues with iced water, cordials, glasses and peppermints as well as standard equipment.
A variety of menus exist for weddings, year end functions, cocktail Parties, car launches or any other type of event. We also have a selection of gala menus for formal dinners, such as award ceremonies. Furthermore our Chef will be more than happy to create a menu to suite your needs.
The hotel is Four Star TGCSA graded as well as AA Superior in the Small Hotels category. Rates are worked out to suite every need, providing you with four star quality and service that is affordable combined with superb cuisine and Old World Charm.
