We are ideally located for the discerning and corporate traveller on the outskirts of the city. Our historical farmhouse dated to 1875 is awaiting your visit. In 1981 Hilldrop House was declared a National Monument. This original homestead of Sir Rider Haggard (author of King Solomon’s Mines) was built in 1875 and stands as a focal point in a three-hectare indigenous forest overlooking the Bed and Breakfast now called Haggards Hilldrop B & B.
Our comfortable and spacious non-smoking rooms have been designed to accommodate all our guests' needs, whether on business or holiday. We offer 29 Luxury Rooms, each equipped with a fan, wardrobe, electronic safe, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, desk, poly-percale bed linen, double or king or twin beds, private entrances or balconies and TVs with DStv.
Whether you choose the comfort and privacy of our beautiful rooms or relax on your verandah or at our clear swimming pool, we can assure you will enjoy your stay with us. Facilities available to our guests include a car wash, wireless Internet, laundry on request, an honesty bar, a pool table, secure parking at all rooms and electronic entrance to the premises for security.
Having confirmed your booking we have concluded a verbal contract and we are holding your accommodation exclusively for you whilst denying other enquiries the opportunity to occupy and hence the prospect of re-letting it. Nice place to stay, Beautiful garden, great Honesty Bar, Family room fully furnished with Kitchen and bathroom, a little oldish style though.
