The room was brilliant and sitting drinking a glass of wine out in the garden even in the rain was great. Made to feel hugely welcome by our hosts and very comfortable.

Whether you’re in need of a weekend break from the stress of the city, or a place to overnight on a long journey, once you’ve experienced the friendly atmosphere, comfort and tranquility of Hadeda’s Guest Lodge, you’ll find it extremely difficult to leave.
Hadeda’s Guest Lodge is nestled in Stanford, a charming country village on the southern Cape Coast, 20 km from Hermanus.
We cater for eco-tourists, adventurers, bird watchers, less energetic types and various combinations of the afore-mentioned.
Our lodge consists of 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms and one luxury bunk room (max 4 people). The rooms get fully serviced daily with fresh towels.
Hermanus, 20km outside Stanford, has grown from a rustic fishermen’s village to being acknowledged by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) as one of the twelve best whale viewing sites in the world. From its rocky cliffs, whales can be seen from as close as five meters. Best land based whale watching in the world.
