Loft /Pool Room 3

Imagine spacious, imagine romantic, and imagine panoramic views and you have the 2 Loft rooms at Highlands. Designed for comfort & relaxation these 2 rooms are firm favorites with our guests requesting privacy & space to relax, recover or rejuvenate. The bathrooms have a full bath & separate shower together with a vanity unit and look out over the roof tops to the sea at False Bay or the gardens & grounds of playing fields & mountain slopes. Both these rooms are light & fresh, fully air conditioned and being at the top of the house they are very quiet . Also in the same category, the pool room has double doors opening directly onto one of our two swimming pools. This room & the pool itself, is set in a secluded patio-garden with an inviting gazebo and delightful conservatory. Fitted with a king size bed, large built in cupboards and a vanity unit, this room is the only room in the house without a full bath, it does however have a large shower and all the other facilities including TV, mini bar, hair dryer. The patio directly in front of the pool room is an ideal spot to soak up the sun, sit in the shade, have a light lunch or indeed to enjoy your sundowners next to your “private” pool.

Our Luxury rooms are generous in size & beautifully appointed, all have spacious, inviting bathrooms, all with a separate bath & shower. We have four Luxury rooms available in the main house each room is individually designed and decorated. All of the rooms have a large balcony spacious enough to entertain and enjoy the time relaxing, taking in the panoramic view of mountains and sea in the distance or the lush Highlands gardens. All Luxury rooms have large king size beds, some can be converted to twins if requested. Writing tables, easy chairs & sofas, chests of drawers and large built in cupboards offer a home from home environment where our guests can spread out & relax. Of course all are equipped with TVs, mini bars and hairdryers. One of our Luxury rooms is situated in the garden. A spacious room with under floor heated Travertine tiled floors in the main room & bathroom. A free standing bath, separate shower unit and his & hers washbasins underline the generous style. This room opens onto a patio leading into the garden where access to the 2 pools is direct & easy. Drinks and even daily meals may be taken on this patio, without hardly leaving the room. An added aspect of this luxury garden room is the dedicated TV satellite system and DVD player allowing the guest to chose what he would like to watch.

Garden Suite 1

Highlands largest suite is lovingly known as our Garden Suite, a special room for any sense of occasion! This suite is situated in the garden, furthest from the house and looks out via a front patio into the beautifully kept Highlands gardens. There is also a private patio to the side of the sitting room part of the suite , ideal to enjoy a sundowner or pre dinner drinks. The room has an extra length king size bed, relaxing rocker armchairs and in the sitting room additional comfy chairs, coffee table a desk and drinks cabinet. Of course the room has a fully equipped bathroom with a large shower and in addition this is the only room at Highlands with a huge spa bath. A DVD/Video player together with dedicated satellite unit enable our guests to watch the channel of their choice. This suite has been lovingly furnished to provide the ultimate comfort, elegance and pleasure. A bright & airy room in fresh florals is kept cooler in the summer with the air conditioner if required; in winter the Italian Travertine tiled floors are warmed by the under floor heating. A private space, situated in a beautiful garden setting surrounded by beautiful pictures, this room has a relaxed, private feel to it regardless of the season

Executive Rooms 5

Designed not only with the business traveler in mind our Executive rooms are all beautifully decorated , light & airy. We have five Executive Rooms available each is different in shape & style. Three of the rooms have queen size beds, the fourth and fifth can be booked as a twin or with a king size bed. Only one of the rooms does not have a balcony but it is the most spacious of the five. A desk or writing table, easy chairs or sofas make the room adaptable to the business or holiday traveler. All rooms have private bathrooms with full baths and separate walk in showers. Of course all are equipped with TVs, mini bars and hairdryers. Laundry service is available and clothes can usually be returned the same day.
